I, James Antonius Fulk, a citizen of the United States of America, established Eyes of the Republic. Eyes of the Republic is an online only, civilian counterintelligence publication using open-source information; it has no affiliation with (being funded, directed, tasked or controlled by) the U.S. government, any foreign government or any NGO. I entirely fund the work produced under Eyes of the Republic.
How did Eyes of the Republic start?
Starting in 2022, I began researching Russian intelligence active measures against the American right. That research expanded into multiple, additional lines of research. The first additional line was investigating the continuity of Soviet intelligence operations to post-Soviet Russia and exploring what some of the prominent Communists and former KGB were up to in post-Soviet Russia. From there, I also began researching domestic communist and radical leftist groups and their ties to foreign governments.
Somewhere along the way, I realized I had accumulated enough research and material to write a book on Russian intelligence active measures conduits targeting English speakers. I wanted to self-publish this book last year (2025) and offer it free of charge, but I realized that Russian active measures have a history in antisemitism—a subject I had put off studying, because I abhor Nazis and knew a study of that subject would require me reading their disgusting, civilization-destroying propaganda.
As of writing this in 2026, I am deep in the study of the history of antisemitism as used by the Russians, the Soviets and the Nazis with particular focus on things like the influence of the book the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.
In terms of a mission statement, I don’t really have much of one. I go where my research interests take me. That being said, my personal political views are at odds with the Communists & radical left, the neo-Nazis and the radical right, the radical Islamicists and any groups that are working against the founding principles of the American Republic.
